NIGHTMARE DARE - HAUNTED FOREST
Challenge: A Halloween themed live event came to us to promote their haunted forest, including a zombie paintball hayride and campfire outdoor movies. With not enough time to advertise the event beforehand, we had limited time to prep for this tent pole event.
Action: We realized the first night that we could never tell this story better than the customers that just experienced the event, so we set up improv customer interviews on the way out of the event, capturing the live emotions of kids and parents that just had the heck scared out of them. These videos were dubbed “Survivor Stories” and went viral on local social media. This was a highly cost-effective means of simply capturing live unedited video and posting it to various social media on the fly.
Result: The campaign delivered $247K in earned media value, 19 editorial media hits, a 48% increase in social engagement and a 91% increase in Tik Tok engagement.
